Justice is a noble meaning that puts the hearts and souls to rest, and with it, humans' talents and capabilities are demonstrated in their highest forms. When the human being feels secure for himself, his honor and property, he becomes creative, productive and contributes effectively in solving problems faced by his nation; when justice values are maintained, and principles are established, the citizen's sense of belonging to his homeland increases, as well as his desire to build it, and the higher aspirations of nations and their leaders are achieved - building the upright patriot individuals, who work towards achieving their country and nation's greatness and glory, stability and prosperity.
Justice can not be achieved on its own, and the individual is not entitled to judge for himself nor to take revenge with his hand, and may not meet abuse with abuse, because it should only be in the hand of the state and its authority and legitimacy, in order to ensure a society free from the predominance of the individual and bullying of the group. We, in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah enjoy peerless attention and support for judiciary and its men by the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, may God protect him, and the close follow-up of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Chairman of the Judicial Council in the emirate. Fair judiciary is one of the most important pillars of good governance that builds with a steady pace a promising future for all who live on the land of this ancient emirate; and the courts seek to translate the first strategy document launched by Ras Al Khaimah Government for 2012-2014 into a tangible reality by setting goals and strategic initiatives that pour in the establishment of a legislative structure and a legal system and modern governance systems, which would bring justice and legal protection to investors, workers, and individuals alike, as well as the department's keenness to realize government guidelines on maximizing family bonding in the emirate, and the promotion of social care for all segments of society so as to enhance the government's vision and aspirations to achieve social development and the consolidation of national identity.
Lastly, organizational excellence remains the main concern for all the leaders, judges and court personnel of the Courts Department to achieve all of the above, as without ongoing development and improvement of the quality of judiciary, as well as the justice and community services provided by the department, we will not reach the desired level of satisfaction among our dealers, partners, human resources, and various community sectors.
