Inauguration of the legal book fair in RAK Courts Department

H.E. chancellor Ahmed Mohammed Al Khatri, chairman of RAK Courts Department, inaugurated the 2nd legal book fair in the department.The opening ceremony was attended by H.E. chancellor Hassan Saeed Mhimed, Attorney General of Ras Al Khaimah and H.E chancellor Ibrahim Al Manaei, director of RAK Court of Appeal and H.E chancellor Hassan Yousef Alrogha, chairman of the Court of First Instance, in addition to a number of judicial authority members and departmental directors.The book fair includes a number of legal books and educational and awareness publications that serve those interested in the law field including the members of the judiciary, as well as lawyers and law students.Al Khatri encouraged the demonstration of the important role of books in increasing community awareness and promoting cultured behavior and thought system among its members, and promoting the culture of establishing book fairs, especially legal ones, which contribute significantly in attracting researchers and graduate students.Al Khatri also stated that the book fair is part of the initiatives through which the department seeks to achieve the courts strategy and promote community awareness, and that it contributes to facilitating access to books to all readers and those interested in law and justice affairs, by providing a set of legal books approved by courts specialists.
