RAK Courts Launch the service for enquiries on cases from afar
RAK Courts launched the service for enquiries on lawsuits from afar. This came in the framework of developing the service for lawsuit and appeal cases registration from afar, which the courts department initiated two years ago and has achieved great success in by saving the money and effort of dealers from lawyers, units of legal affairs, banks and insurance companies, and debt collection companies registered in this service. On the other hand, the e-linkage between the Authentication Department in RAK Courts and the Emirates Identity Authority has been completed to effectuate the partnership agreement between the two parties with regard to the system of updating and exchanging social status data continuously at the state level.Chancellor Ahmed Mohammed Al Khatri, Director of RAK Courts said: “The service for enquiries on cases from afar is considered a qualitative addition added by the courts department for its dealers; especially after the electronically registered cases number reached 33.8% in the year 2014, in all courts for different civil and personal status lawsuits, as the service received a great response from lawyers and different users of the service, which reflected in the outcome of their satisfaction surveys which reached 97% by the end of 2014, especially after the department trained them on the e-registration process, and provided them with all necessary programs and instructional guides. Also the e-linkage with Emirates Identity Authority is gaining more importance with the increased percentage of applications on Authentication Department’s services by 47.93% in the year 2014 compared to the year 2013, which reached more than 14 thousand services”.From his side, Eng. Ahmad Bin Saeed Al Sayyah, General Manager of RAK EGA, stated: “The e-linkage between RAK Courts and Emirates Identity Authority comes to keep up with the e-linkage process and the exchange of data between the different government bodies and departments at the state level, and which is considered one of the requirements of the transition to smart services, and the completion of this e-linkage comes also in the framework of the linking and planning project of government resources in the emirate. The e-linkage was implemented through the cooperation between the Courts Department and Emirates Identity Authority through the provision of technical staff required to complete the technical linking process, and provision of the required infrastructure to facilitate the e-linkage process”.
